The Rising Genius Math Challenge is one of the biggest online math Competition for students in Nigeria. The Competition was organized to ignite passion for mathematics among the Nigerian Secondary School students and to reward students for their creativities and love for mathematics. The competition was organized by a team of seasoned mathematicians based in Nigeria and their counterparts abroad; and sponsored by math-loving individuals based in Europe and America. |

The Rising Genius Mathematics Challenge is a competition that enables students to prove their math skills and to show their Creativities. The competition is opened to Senior Secondary School Students ages 14-18 years in SSS2 and SSS3 classes. The topics used for setting the examination were taken from RGMC Syllabus adapted from Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) syllabus. The RGMC syllabus covers the whole of SSS1 Scheme and SSS2 Scheme of work up-to 2nd term only to provide a levelled playing-ground for all interested participants.The questions for this competition are designed to test students creative thinking and maths skills. Apart from the cash-prizes award, RGMC also serves as a preparatory platform for students seeking to write external examinations (WAEC, NECO, GCE, JAMB,SAT,IGCSE etc). Interested participants should register for this competition by clicking on free registration on the Home page. Students can participate in this challenge as many times as possible so far they are within the age brackets of 14-18 years. |

(ROUND1)-QUALIFICATION ROUND: This round has five math problems. To qualify for round 2(Final round),you need to solve at least 3 to 4 of the problems correctly. (ROUND2)-FINAL ROUND:The final round has 30 multiple-choice questions. You will write the competition online via RGMC website: www.rgmchallenge.info Participants will pay a token of #1000.00 to access a login code which will enable them access the RGMC portal for online examination. This cost provides necessary resources for individual evaluation. |

There will be two rounds, Round 1 and 2, both of which must be taken. Round 1: consist of five challenging problems. Participants will be required to solve 3-4 questions correctly to qualify for the final round.Round 2: consist of 30 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 60 minutes for 60 marks. |

Winners will be awarded as follows:
Consolation prize will be awarded as follows: 4th - 10th Genius = #10,000.00 each. Plus all finalists who proceed to round two will be awarded certificates of excellence. All Cash-prize will be forwarded to the winners bank account after proper verification. |

This challenge is opened to all students in both public and private schools regardless of their religion and tribe. To participate in RGMC you have to be a senior secondary student in SSS2 or SSS3 ages 14-18 years living in Nigeria. To solve the questions for each round you must be smart, open-minded and creative. |
